Xbox LIVE Top 10 Most Played: Week of September 8th
Not much to see here. The Top 10 games overall remains mostly unchanged, with the exception of Mercenaries 2 debuting at the number 9 spot. Deservedly, Castle Crashers manages to stay in the overall top 10 again at number 8, which may be the strongest showing for an Xbox LIVE Arcade title yet. The Star Wars demo is also showing some legs; however, with the actual full game pulling in only mediocre reviews, it will be interesting to see whether it can actually compete with its lesser demo.

In the Arcade Top 10, Castle Crashers dominates again while Braid gets bumped to the number three position by new comer Samurai Showdown II. Samurai Showdown II is the classic fighter from SNK, which debuted on the Neo Geo system. Yet again we’re surprised by the fate of Bionic Commando: Rearmed, which slipped to eighth place behind the universally reviled RocketBowl.
