Xbox LIVE Top 10 Most Played: Week of August 18th
Another week, another top 10 list courtesy of majornelson.com. The usual suspects top the overall most played list: Call of Duty 4, Halo 3, and GTA IV. However, the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed demo makes a ridiculously high debut in fourth place. Having played the demo, I can understand why: it’s shaping up to be a great game. Conspicuously missing? Too Human. After the critical drubbing it took, it appears many gamers stayed clear.

On the XBLA Arcade front, Fable II Pub Games still sits atop the list, which only goes to prove the power of the hype that Fable II is generating. Getting cash and items in Pub Games will carry over directly to Fable II itself once released. This certainly bodes well for Fable II. Oddly, the much hyped and anticipated Bionic Commando Rearmed isn’t doing as well as we’d expect, sitting in fourth position behind Braid and Galaga Legions, the latter debuting this week in second.
