Unreal Tournament III Release Date
Midway Games and developer Epic Games announced Unreal Tournament 3 is scheduled to be available on July 7, 2008.
This version of Unreal Tournament III (an older version was already released several months ago on the PS3) features several new additions:
- split screen
- five exclusive maps
- two all-new characters
- all previously released downloadable content
Not only will there be in-game additions, but the Xbox 360 Unreal Tournament III will include an exclusive video preview of Gears of War 2. The exclusive video content features never-before-seen footage of the game’s multiplayer modes featuring new maps, new modes, new weapons and new gameplay elements. The video is narrated by design director, Cliff Bleszinski, and producer, Rod Fergusson.
The Unreal Tournament series of multiplayer focused first person shooters has a long and well praised past on the PC. Unreal Tournament 3 is the most recent addition to the franchise, and features the same stunning visual engine as the gorgeous Gears of War
