Amp Your Game National Gaming Tour Hits Winnipeg
In case you were unaware, the Amp Your Game national gaming tour has been making its way across Canada since mid-June. It started off with a bang in Halifax and has made stops in Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto thus far.
This weekend, July 10 - 13, the tour is stopping in lovely Winnipeg, at The Forks - One Forks Market Road. If you’re in the area and your interested, certainly make an effort to drop by.
What’s at stake? A full sponsorship from Amp Energy drink as one of a four member crew of professional gamers. You’ll travel across North America and possibly the world playing in gaming tournaments and the prospect of winning large purses.
But it isn’t all fun and games: four finalists from each city will be chosen only after they’ve risen to the top of a weekend-long tournament. After the tour has completed, the pool of finalists will continue to be evaluated by the three established members of the team until they’re comfortable with just one.

- Edmonton, July 17-20: West Edmonton Mall;
- Calgary, July 24-27: Eau Claire Market;
- Vancouver, July 31-August 3: Richmond Centre;
- Saskatoon, August 7-10: Saskatoon Exhibition, Prarieland Park.
